Garg to Chair next Gordon Research Conference on Nuclear Chemistry

Prof. Umesh Garg served as the Vice Chair of the 2013 Gordon Research Conference on Nuclear Chemistry, held at the Colby Sawyer College, New London, NH. He will chair the next conference in the series, to be held in June, 2015.

New leadership in the Department of Physics

The Department of Physics welcomes new leadership effective July 1.

Prof. Chris Kolda becomes Department Chair. Kolda, a theoretical particle physicist, joined Notre Dame in 2000. He assumes the position after seven years of service by Prof. Mitch Wayne.
