Electroweak Restoration at the LHC and Beyond

Dr. Ian Lewis

The LHC is exploring electroweak physics at the scale electroweak symmetry is broken. As the LHC and new high energy colliders push our understanding of the Standard Model to ever-higher energies, it will be possible to probe not only the breaking of but also the restoration of electroweak symmetry. In this talk, we propose to observe electroweak restoration in double electroweak boson production. In particular, we propose a new observable that will be sensitive electroweak restoration and perform a collider study to show the viability of measuring it in the vector boson+Higgs channel.  Based on arXiv:2012.00774 [hep-ph]
