The Notre Dame Chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS) is sponsoring a bus trip and tour of Argonne National Laboratory on Wednesday, November 14.
The trip is limited to 25 students--and it is FREE for paid members of SPS. ($10 SPS membership dues can be paid to any SPS officer to Susan in the Department of Phyics office.) The trip will be $5 for anyone not in SPS.
Plan to see: Advanced Photon Source, ATLAS (the first tandem linear accelerator), the Gammasphere, old nuclear facilities, BlueGene (a supercomputer), and more.
