The Colleges of Science and Engineering are pleased to announce the upcoming COSE Research Horizons Symposium (previously known as COSE-JAM). This annual symposium will take place on Friday, December 13, 2024, in the Jordan Hall of Science. The event is open to graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty.
The symposium aims to showcase postgraduate achievements, promote interdisciplinary research, enhance presentation and mentoring skills, offer career development guidance, and provide a platform for trainees to share their work with diverse audiences. The full-day event includes oral presentation sessions, keynote speakers, a professional development panel, an afternoon poster session, and concludes with a happy hour.
Lunch and coffee will be provided for all attendees.
Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from the University of Notre Dame and Indiana University School of Medicine-South Bend are invited to present their original research. Projects may have been conducted on or off campus and mentored by faculty from Notre Dame or other institutions.
Please note that there is no registration fee.
At the end of the day, prizes for outstanding presentations and posters will be announced.
Register and Submit Your Abstract
The deadline to submit abstracts is Monday, November 25, at 5 pm.
Registration without abstract submissions will be available until Monday, December 2.
You can indicate whether your abstract is intended for an oral presentation or a poster. If the number of oral presentation submissions exceeds the available slots, our committee will conduct an evaluation, and you will then be notified if it is selected for an oral presentation or a poster.
