ND Physics grad featured in NYT's "Sunday Routine"

Dr. Jackie Faherty, Notre Dame Physics major class of 2001, was profiled in the November 6 "Sunday Routine" in the New York Times. Faherty was a recipient of the Undergraduate Research Award given at commencement in 2001. She went on to earn her PhD from Stony Brook University. Post PhD, she spent two years at the Universidad de Chile on a National Science Foundation International Research Fellowship (NSF-IRFP) and three years at the Carnegie Institution for Science on a NASA Hubble Fellowship. Faherty is now a permanent scientific staff member jointly in the department of Astrophysics and the department of Education at the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH).
