The Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award recognizes a student’s contributions to research within the Physics Department and his/her potential for future success.
Paul Chagnon Award for Service to the Department

This award is given for demonstrated character and leadership, and for service to the University, the Department of Physics, and to his or her fellow physics majors. Paul Chagnon was a Professor in the department who retired in 1995, whose many contributions we honor with this award.
These awards will be formally presented at the annual Dean's Award Luncheon to be held on Friday, May 11.
