The College of Science Open House for Alumni Reunion Weekend was well-attended on the morning of Friday, May 30 in Jordan Hall of Science. Emeritus Professors Emerson Funk and John Poirier and Department Chair Christopher Kolda greeted physics graduates with special welcome given to those attending their 50 year celebration. Those from 1964 who stopped at the open house event included: Bill Jones, Mike McCusker, James Maher, Larry Borgman, and Stewart Ryan. Physics majors from other years who visited during the open house were Thomas Krick ('69), James Harrington ('89/'91), Robert Raphael ('89), and Colleen Raphael ('94).
Alumni could visit the Museum for Biodiversity or attend a show at the Digital Visualization Theater during the College of Science event.
