Applications being accepted for the NDnano summer research fellowship program (NURF)

Author: Stephanie Healey

The Center for Nano Science and Technology (NDnano) is now accepting applications for the 2014 NDnanoUndergraduate Research Fellowships (NURF).  NURF provides funding for ten weeks of summer undergraduate research in the areas of nanoscience and nanoengineering. Last summer, 29 students from Notre Dame and other universities across the globe participated in NURF.

Students will work under the direction of an NDnano faculty-led team  to engage in cutting-edge research. Students will be expected to prepare a research summary at the end of their research experiences. NURF positions are full-time (40 hours per week) and will provide a stipend of $5,250.

To learn more about NURF and apply to the program, visit the NDnano website. Questions can also be directed to Heidi Deethart at (574) 631-0279.
