Freimann Professor Ani Aprahamian gave a plenary talk at the 27th International Nuclear Physics Conference held in Glasgow (July 29-August 2, 2019). Her talk was titled "Explosive scenarios in astrophysics: Observations, models, and nuclear physics inputs".

The INPC is the biggest conference in the world for fundamental nuclear physics. It is held every three years and focuses on the latest work across the whole range of topics from hadrons to the heaviest nuclei and the role of nuclear physics in our understanding of the universe. The conference is co-sponsored by Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, VisitScotland and International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP).
