Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium: Poster Sessions and 3MT Competition

-

Location: Jordan Hall of Science - Galleria and Auditorium 105

All members of the Notre Dame and Saint Mary's communities are invited to attend the 2023 Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium on Wednesday, July 26, in the Jordan Hall of Science on Notre Dame's campus. Two, hour-long poster sessions will showcase cutting-edge research across various disciplines and the exceptional work performed by young scholars during their summer research experiences. Students in the arts, business, engineering, and science programs at Notre Dame and Saint Mary's College are excited to discuss their research topics and answer questions from attendees. We hope you will join us!

New this year, a select group of students will also participate in a 3MT Competition immediately following the poster session. Students will be judged by a panel of research and communication experts on how well they articulate their research topic and present a clear and logical sequence of objectives, results, and impact, while translating the technical and scientific jargon into meaningful terminology appropriate for non-specialists -- all within three minutes. A brief award ceremony will conclude the symposium.
