Macroscopic Dark Matter

Dark matter may manifest primarily in a macroscopic form rather than as free particles. This colloquium will delve into several representative macroscopic dark matter models, exploring their motivations and properties. This paradigm shift necessitates the development of new search strategies for the direct detection of dark matter, which we will discuss as both necessary and feasible in the coming decade.
