Professor Umesh Garg has been selected as a Fulbright Specialist in Physics Education for a three-year period beginning August 2023.
Fulbright Specialists represent a wide range of professional and academic disciplines, and are competitively selected to join the Fulbright Specialist Roster based on professional and academic achievement, demonstrated leadership in their field, and potential to foster long-term cooperation between institutions in the United States and overseas. Individuals who are approved to join the Fulbright Specialist Roster are eligible to be matched with approved projects designed by host institutions from over 150 countries and other areas.
Professor Garg's first assignment is likely to be at his alma mater, the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.
