Research Interests

Prof. Toroczkai’s research interests are in Agent-based Systems (fundamental principles, functional evolution, chaotic games control, multiagent-games, collective optimization), Complex Networks (structural modeling, network optimization, queuing networks), Biophysics (population dynamics, epidemics, endosymbiotic evolution, protein folding, neural networks), Computing (parallel computing, scalability, scheduling, heuristic algorithms), and Fluid Dynamics (chaotic advection, tracer dynamics, inertial transport, chemical and biological activity in mixing flows).
